Here in Christ King we value co-operation and regular contact with parents. To support students’ success, we encourage parents and guardians to attend the various events held in school throughout the year. Below, you will find an outline of events for the coming academic year. These events reflect our commitment to open communication and strong partnerships with parents and guardians.

Six dedicated year group-specific information sessions are held each year, focusing on key topics such as curriculum updates, student wellbeing, CAO preparation, subject choice and exam preparation strategies.

  • First Year Parents Welcome Evening: Tuesday, 30th September at 6:30 - 7:30 pm
At the beginning of the school year, we warmly welcome the parents of our new First Year students. This evening offers an overview of school life, the support systems in place for students, and an opportunity to meet key members of staff.

  • Graduation and Award Ceremonies
We celebrate the achievements of our students with formal Graduation and Award Ceremonies, marking both the end of the junior and senior cycles and recognising student accomplishments. These events are a highlight of the school year and are well-attended by proud families.

  • Incoming First Year Parents' Information Meeting: 21st January 2026
On the day of the Entrance Examination, parents of incoming First Years are invited to an information meeting. This session provides essential guidance on transition, school expectations, and how to support their daughter best.

  • Annual Open Night: 24th September 2025
Our Open Night is a key event on the school calendar, offering prospective students and their families the opportunity to explore our facilities, meet staff, and experience the vibrant life of our school community.

We also have a committed Parents’ Council that meets regularly throughout the year. Membership is open to all parents/guardians by virtue of their daughter’s enrollment in the School.
